Closing of the deal for the acquisition of 49% of authorized capital of “Stevedoring Timber Company” has taken place between concern LEMO and the company Chupit Limited already holding a large stock in JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg”.
All 127 jobs in the Stevedoring timber company have been retained. Throughput volumes of the company will not decrease.
Leonid Marienko, director of the Stevedoring timber company, made the following comment: “We put very high hopes on the new investor who is interested in the development of our company”.
For information: the controlling interest of STC belongs to the Danish metallurgical company Jysk Stalindustrie ApS, the majority shareholder of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg”.
