On May 27 on the eve of Day of Protection of children OJSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (SP SPb) arranged excursion to Leningrad Zoo for children of its employees.
Together with parents and guides children got acquainted with inhabitants of the Zoo, visited exotarrium, petted owl, armadillo, saw snake and huge porcupine. Also during excursion children fed alpaca and the whole family of lemurs. After the trip children received souvenirs and sweets.
Care of children is one of priorities of social policy of SP SPb. Every year the company arranges educational events for children of its employees. Last autumn the children together with parents made voyage aboard comfortable motor vessel along Sea Canal nearby berths of the First and Second areas of the port and learned about underwater world in aquarium “Neptune’s Planet”.
