On the eve of Children’s Day the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” in cooperation with North-Western Shipping Company arranged the excursion for children of employees of the company to the water area of the Greater Port of Saint-Petersburg.
80 children aged from 5 to 15 years and 50 parents (employees of the company) participated in this excursion aboard the passenger motor vessel “Moskva-183”.
During this excursion children learned about the history of creation and development of the port in Saint-Petersburg, saw berths and handling equipment, learned about the stages of cargo handling and main professions in the port.
Besides this excursion the company arranged contests, trivia games with prizes and tea drinking for all the participants of this event.
Cadets of Saint-Petersburg Sea Technical College were responsible for safety of the children aboard the vessel.
