Within 9 months of 2011 the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” transferred over 37.6 mln. rubles for the implementation of social projects.
11.2 mln. rubles were transferred to the target fund for support of the employees.
Within the reporting period the company transferred over 20.7 mln. rubles for financial support and for payment of bonuses in relation to public holidays and anniversaries of the port employees.
4.6 mln. rubles were paid to the non-working pensioners – veterans of the port and to persons celebrating jubilees and active members of the Veteran’s Council. Beside quarterly additional payments to pension former port workers receive also additional payments to public holidays and anniversaries.
Within the period of 23 years the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” has rendered assistance to orphanage No.10 of Kirovskiy district. Starting from the beginning of 2011 about 1 mln. rubles were transferred for the renovation of the living premises of this orphanage and for arrangement of the holidays for the orphanage children.

Target funds for the social support of the employees are created in the group of companies. 1% of the salary fund is transferred to the target funds. Special committees elected by the employees of the group of companies regulate the spending of these funds. The advantage of these funds is in transparency of spending the money and in support available for all the employees regardless of their membership in professional organizations.
