In the first quarter of 2011 the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” transferred over 5.5 mln. rubles for the implementation of social projects.
In 2010 the company transferred over 17.2 mln. rubles for financial support to the current and former employees of the port, to single mothers and families with many children, which is by 37% more than in 2009.
In particular, the group of companies transferred about 5.8 mln. rubles to support the retired employees of the port. Quarterly former port workers receive bonuses and various payments in relation to public holidays.
Over 2.6 mln. rubles were transferred for creation of funds of support of employees. The group of companies uses these funds to provide financial assistance to single mothers and families with many children, to reimburse the costs of treatment and recreation of the employees of the group.
Besides, “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” traditionally supports the Council of Port Veterans: former employees of the group receive bonuses every quarter and payments to the public holidays. Within the reporting period 2.4 mln. rubles were transferred for these purposes.
Within the period of 23 years the group of companies has rendered assistance to orphanage No.10 of Kirovskiy district. In the first quarter of 2011 over 500 thousand rubles were transferred for the renovation of the living premises of this orphanage.
