Within the Programme on technical re-equipment the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” entered into the contract for purchase of the equipment for the sum exceeding 41 mln. rubles.
From the beginning of 2008 12 “TCM” diesel fork-lift trucks (lifting capacity 2-10 tons) and 6 “Hyster” straddle carriers (lifting capacity 4.5-8 tons) have been purchased for the First and the Second Stevedoring Companies.
New equipment will make it possible to increase the productivity of handling operations and reduce the costs related to its maintenance and repair.
Till the end of 2009 9 “Hyster” straddle carriers (lifting capacity 2.8-10 tons) will be delivered to the berths of the First and Second Stevedoring Companies.
