Within the process of modernization of business management system the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” has implemented the first stage of the project related to the integrated information system Microsoft Dуnamics AX – “finances and logistics”.
As a result of the trial implementation of information system in two companies (JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg”, CJSC “Second Stevedoring Companies”) accounting and management accounting, administration and tariffing are carried out in integrated information system in accordance with unified procedures.
The implementation of the information system in the group of companies will provide the opportunity to combine cost-centre accounting, financial and management accounting, integrate information system with the specialized systems of the cargo terminals being built at the moment.
The group of companies transferred over 15 mln. rubles for the implementation of the first stage of the project. Full implementation of the system includes also working operations management, interconnection of the industrial processes with the accounting and taxing systems, which will make it possible to increase the transparency and efficiency of the decision-making system in the company.
