In the third quarter of 2011 the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” transferred over 1.5 mln. rubles to support non-working pensioners-veterans of the port, active members of Council of Veterans and  people, celebrating their jubilee.

At the present moment the group of companies supports 885 non-working pensioners, registered by Interregional Social Organization called “Veterans of Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg”.

Apart from quarterly bonuses former employees of the port traditionally receive payments on the eve of different holidays, special assistance is rendered to survivors of the siege and participants of war.

In 2011 4.6 mln. rubles were transferred  to support veterans of port work.


Reference: “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” – is the largest group of stevedoring companies at the North-West of Russia. It handles all types of dry cargoes; operates by modern specialized terminals for handling of container, reefer, ro-ro cargoes, cars, metals and coals. The group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg includes CJSC “Fourth Stevedoring Company”, “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” in Ust-Luga  and a number of service companies.

At the present time the amount of employees of the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” exceeds 2.7 thousands of people. Company supports Council of Port Veterans, which exists more than 27 years. Veterans receive financial assistance every quarter. In 2010 about 5.8 mln. rubles were transferred for these purposes.
