In 2011 the turnover of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (“SP SPb”), where as the result of reorganization First, Second and Third Stevedoring companies were included, amounted to 7.4 mln. tons, which is by 9% more than the total indicators of the above-mentioned companies in 2010.

 

Within 12 months of 2011 года 5.5 mln. tons of general cargoes were handled at the berths of the united company, which is by 5% more than in the previous year.

 

Handling volumes of ro-ro cargoes at the specialized terminals of “SPSPb” in 2011 increased up to 1 mln. tons (+40%), in particular, 47 166 cars were handled, which is by three times more than in 2010.

 

Handling volumes of loose and bulk cargoes increased by 12% and amounted to 887 thousand tons. Export share in the structure of the turnover of the company increased by 2%, up to 5.7 mln. tons, import volumes increased by 40% and amounted to 1.7 mln. tons.

JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” – is the largest operator, rendering services on handling of all types of dry cargoes in the Greater Port of Saint-Petersburg.  It operates by modern specialized terminals for handling of container, reefer, ro-ro cargoes, cars and metals. In 2010 the process of reorganization of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” by joining of three joint-stock companies to it: CJSC “Third Stevedoring Company”, CJSC “Second Stevedoring Company”, CJSC “First Stevedoring Company” started. Closed joint-stock companies ceased their activities. JSC “SPSPb” became the legal successor with regard to all the rights and obligations of three companies
