In February 2007 the stevedoring companies of the group JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” handled 812 thousand tons of cargoes, which is by 20% more than the group’s performance in February 2006.
“First Stevedoring Company” handled 344 thousand tons (growth of 22%), “Second Stevedoring Company” - 166 thousand tons (growth of 4%), “Fourth Stevedoring Company” - 263 thousand tons (growth of 58%). “Stevedoring Timber Company” slowed down its performance having handled 40 thousand tons (35% less than in February 2006), which was caused by adverse market conditions.
In February 2007 the share of the group “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” in the total cargo turnover of the Greater Port amounted to 21%.
