In January-March of 2014 OJSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (“SP SPb”) transferred 38.8 mln Rubles for the implementation of its development programme.
Main part of the funds – 31.9 mln Rubles – was transferred for lease payments for equipment, purchased by the company within the programme on renewal of handling equipment fleet.
“SP SPb” transferred 6.9 mln Rubles for the development of port infrastructure and technical re-equipment of the terminals.
In particular, the company carried out the design works on reconstruction of the power systems. These works include modernization of the transformer substations and increase of their capacities. Telecommunications facilities and firefighting systems were renewed, designing of sanitary protection area of the port was carried out. Within the reporting period the company also purchased the new equipment for handling of loose cargoes.
