In 2010 the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” transferred over 39.6 mln. rubles for the implementation of social projects, which is by 21% more than in 2009.
In 2010 the company transferred over 17.2 mln. rubles for financial support to the current and former employees of the port, to single mothers and families with many children, which is by 37% more than in 2009.
In particular, the group of companies transferred about 5.8 mln. rubles to support the retired employees of the port. Quarterly former port workers receive bonuses and various payments in relation to public holidays.
Within the reporting period over 13.1 mln. rubles were transferred to the target funds earmarked for the social support of the personnel (+8% in comparison with 2009). Main part of these funds was used for reimbursement of expenses for treatment (including resorts) and arrangement of summer vacations for children of the port workers in the recreation camp “Mayak”.
About 3.4 mln. rubles were transferred for payments in relation to public holidays and anniversaries of the port employees.
5.3 mln. rubles were transferred for benefits and compensations under effective collective labour agreements.
Within the period of 23 years the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” has rendered assistance to orphanage No.10 of Kirovskiy district. In 2010 over 600 thousand rubles were transferred for the renovation of the living premises of this orphanage and for arrangement of the holidays for the orphanage children.
