In January-June of 2014 ОJSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (“SP SPb”) transferred 15.1 mln Rubles for the implementation of the social projects and training of the personnel.
Part of the funds was transferred to the Target Fund of “SP SPb”, from which the company reimbursed the expenses for sport, recreation and treatment. Besides the company paid quarterly and holiday bonuses to non-working pensioners and employees, granted the rank “Veteran of the Port”. The reporting period financial assistance was rendered also to people celebrating their jubilees and active representatives of the veteran’s organization.
Within the programme on support of children of the employees of “SP SPb” excursion was arranged. In spring the children visited museum called “Water Universe”, where they learned interesting facts about water, its variety and importance for a human being and received souvenirs.
Traditionally the port rendered financial assistance to the orphanage Nr. 10 of the Kirov district of Saint-Petersburg. Funds of the company were transferred for the renovation and purchase of new furniture.
Within the reporting period 204 employees of “SP SPb” were trained, which is twice more than within the same period of the last year.
