In the 1st quarter of 2017 10.6 mln rbls was directed for implementation of the social programme of the JSC “Seaport of Saint-Petersburg” (SP SPb).

The main funds were spent for the support of port workers and their families. Expenses of the port’s employees for medical services, health resort treatment and sports were compensated by the company. Additional financial aid was rendered to single mothers working in the port, large families and port workers who found themselves in difficult life situations. 

Special attention was traditionally paid to the pensioners and the workers who have the title “Veteran of the Seaport”. They received quarterly bonuses, as well as cash benefits timed to jubilee and memorable dates. 
 
From January till March 121 employees of the company completed professional development programmes, which is by 61% more than during the same period of last year.

JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” – the largest operator rendering services on handling of all dry cargoes in the Greater Port of Saint-Petersburg. It operates modern multi-purpose terminals for general and bulk cargoes as well as specialized terminals for handling of ro-ro cargoes and containers.  In 2016 the company’s cargo turnover amounted to 7.3 mln tons.
