Within January-March of 2015 OJSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (SP SPb) transferred 6.5 mln Rubles for the implementation of the social programme.
Main part of the funds was transferred for assistance to port employees and their families. The company reimbursed expenses for medical services, resort treatment and sport. Single mothers working in the port, employees with many children and employees who turned to be in difficult life situations received monetary allowance.
Within the reporting period SP SPb paid special attention to pensioners and workers who were granted the rank of “The Port Veteran”. On the eve of memorial dates and anniversaries they received bonuses and quarterly payments.
Within three months of 2015 49 employees of SP SPb participated in professional development programmes – which exceeds by 36% the amount of the previous year. Besides practical training for students (faculty of port equipment and mechanical faculty) of State University of Sea and River Fleet named after S.O. Makarov being trained in LLC “Sea Recruiting Agency” was arranged at the berths of the port.

SRA was established in 2001 and is a subsidiary company of OJSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg”. Agency has its own Training Centre with all technical means for primary training, re-qualification and advanced training on the basis of various educational programmes.
