On July 1, Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg JSC (SP SPb) celebrated the Marine and River Fleet Workers’ Day.

On the occasion of the professional holiday, SP SPb held a traditional employee recognition.

54 employees were marked with various awards of corporate, industrial or ministerial levels for their labor achievements, essential contribution into the development of the company and the seaborne transport industry. 30 employees received Director’s Commendations, Certificates of Acknowledgement and Silver Badges “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg”. A title of “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg Veteran” was given to ten employees. Seven specialists were awarded with Certificates of Acknowledgement from the Marine Board of Saint-Petersburg Government, four specialists – with Commendations from Saint-Petersburg Transport Committee, two specialists – with Commendations from RF Ministry of Transport. The badge “Honored Worker of Russian Transport” was given to one employee.

The ceremony was held in a traditionally friendly atmosphere with many kind words and wishes from the colleagues.

SP SPb also took part in the ceremonial laying of flowers to the memorial “Seafarers and Naval Architects of Russia” on the Petrovskaya embankment organized by the Marine Board of Saint-Petersburg Government.
