In January-June of 2014 OJSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” transferred 18.5 mln Rubles for the implementation of the environmental programme.
In particular the port performed monitoring of quality of surface waste water and air, also controlled observance of norms and requirements of environment protection and sanitary legislation.
Within the reporting period the company also modernized its power complex. Technical maintenance of water treatment facilities was provided. In order to ensure safe handling of production and consumption wastes works on tracking of wastes, monitoring of places of their temporary accumulation and removal of wastes for their further disposal were performed.
