On April 28, Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg (SP SPb) held the company territory clean-up as part of a month of neighbourhood improvements.

More than a hundred of the company employees including the heads of subdivisions and Managing Director Vladislav Zhukov turned their focus toward cleaning of sidewalks and grassplots along the main road linking the First and the Second districts of the port. They also cleaned a minipark at the Port Defendants stele near the Gutuyevsky Kovsh basin.

All the participants demonstrated care and commitment typical for port employees as well as spirits riding high despite an extended working week and treacherous weather. The more so as hot tea and pies expected everybody in the end.

The clean-up event is a continued tradition of the port team’s environmental friendliness. That was yet another activity of the port employees along with an annual clean-up of the Kanonersky island, known as «The Clean Island» event.
