In the 1st half of 2016 OJSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (SP SPb) transferred 132.9 mln Rubles for the implementation of development programme which exceeds 3.5 times the figures of the same period of the last year. Main part of funds – 108.1 mln Rubles – was transferred for technical re-equipment of the terminals. Expenses for modernization of storage areas amounted to 24.8 mln Rubles.

Within the reporting period the company put into operation two bucket lift-trucks Volvo L60GZ with capacity of 2 m3 each. Small size and neutralizer of exhaust gases allow Volvo L60GZ to handle bulk cargoes in vessel holds and in warehouses. The company also purchased auxiliary equipment for hoisting devices and specialized roll-trailers for transportation of cargoes along the port territory. 

In the 1st half SP SPb made an advance payment for two fork lift-trucks  Kalmar DCF330-12LB with the lifting capacity of 33 tons for handling of ferrous metals in particular of steel slabs and rolled steel.  Besides the company purchased four fork lift-trucks Kalmar DCG 100-6 with the lifting capacity of 10 tons and two fork lift-trucks ТСМ with the lifting capacity of 8 tons for operations at the First and the Second port areas. New equipment will be delivered to the terminal in autumn of this year. 

SP SPb also modernized its storage capacities. The implementation of such projects will allow to increase the production capacity of the company and widen the range of handled cargoes. 

SP SPb reconstructed cold and hot water supply systems and renovated automated system of commercial account of electricity. This will allow to reduce the expenses of the company.
