In 2014 OJSC “Sea Port of Saint-Persburg” (SP SPb) transferred 367.4 mln Rubles which is by 40% more than during the last year. 270 mln Rubles were transferred for the modernization of the port infrastructure and technical re-equipment of the terminals; 97.4 mln Rubles were transferred for lease payments for the equipment purchased earlier within the renewal of handling equipment fleet. 


Within the reporting period the company put into operation 2 Komatsu WA 200-5 front loaders, equipped on request of SP SPb by everything necessary in order to work in vessel’s hold as well as by air filtration system and central lubrication system for bearings. Both units are equipped by buckets with capacity of 2.4 m³. Besides the company purchased into full property 2 mobile Liebherr LHM 600 cranes with capacity of 140 tons each, which were earlier in lease and were operating in the port since 2012.

 

SP SPb also reconstructed heat and power supply facility and in autumn of the last year the company started to implement automatic power control system, which will increase power efficiency of the company.


In 2014 SP SPb completed works on calculation of sanitary and protection zone around the port, renewed telecommunication and server equipment, modernized fire-fighting system and reconstructed check-point cross Russian State Border.
