On May 8 on the eve of the Victory Day, on the territory of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” the flowers were laid to the monuments devoted to the port workers who perished during the Great Patriotic War.


A week earlier for all port workers, veterans of the war, a gala concert was organized. Head of the Veterans Council Stanislav Tsimbalist and Personnel Deputy Director of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg”, Igor Dubovitskiy, congratulated all the veterans of the war.


Administration of the group of companies provided veterans with financial assistance and congratulated personally every former front-line soldier.


Port of Leningrad was significantly damaged during the war. This strategic site was under bombardment since June 1941. Buildings, facilities and equipment were severely damaged. However port continued its work, showing its courage and firmness.
