The group of companies of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” won the first prize in the annual Saint-Petersburg review contest of the Guardianship Boards of the educational establishments for orphans and children left without parental support.
In April 2007 Contest Committee inspected among 10 other participants the work of Guardianship Board of the Orphanage Nr.10, which is guarded already for several years by JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg”.
In 2006 the group of companies of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” transferred 622 400 rubles to the settlement account of the Orphanage Nr.10. These funds were used to complete the capital repairs of the building, purchase minibus “Gasel” and all the necessary furniture for children.
Reference:Saint-Petersburg review contest of the Guardianship Boards is held annually by the Education Committee and Coordination Council of the Government of Saint-Petersburg. Review contest is aimed at increasing efficiency level of the functioning and finding the best Guardianship Boards responsible for solving issues related to material and technical support, help in creation of optimal conditions for living, raising, education and development of creative abilities and social adaptation of children.
