In 2007 the group of companies JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” invested 546 million rubles into the implementation of the Development Programme.
The construction of the Automobile Terminal is proceeding to completion on the territory of “Third Stevedoring Company”.
The volume of investments into this project will amount to more than 125 million rubles.
In October of 2007 the group of companies started the design works for the new Container Terminal on the territory of JSC “Fourth Stevedoring Company”. The implementation of this project will require the investments in amount of 9.1 billion rubles. The construction works will be started in second half of 2008.
For the modernization of the cargo terminals and infrastructure of the Sea port a number of the measures aimed to solve the problems related to the congestion of the roads nearby the port by trucks were taken in 2007. JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” took some measures to prevent congestion of trucks nearby Gapsalskie gates and on the adjacent streets. In order to prevent the congestion by the trucks at the gates of the port the transit parking lot and dispatcher’s office for truck traffic control were opened on the territory of car depot. The volume of investments into the implementation of this programme amounted to 87.5 million rubles.
Besides, the companies of the group performed the modernization and renewal of motor vehicles and handling equipment. The cost of the purchased equipment amounted to 247.1 million rubles in 2007.
The group of companies accomplished the construction of Handling Facility for General Cargoes on the territories of the 1 and the 2nd cargo areas of the port. Investments into this project in 2007 amounted to 162.5 million rubles.
Reference: In 2007 JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” started the implementation of the All-round Development programme of the group of companies up to 2011. It includes the following projects: the construction of the new facilities (automobile and container terminals); the reconstruction of the existing facilities (capital repairs of the berths); development of the transport infrastructure (reconstruction of the check-points, design and construction of the transit parking lot for the trucks and programme on transfer of the cargo flows from the areas of the Greater Port to the main roads). Total volume of investments into implementation of the Programme will amount to 19 bln. rubles.
