For better adjustment and quicker process of training of new employees the group of the companies JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” has passed the decree “On guardianship”.

According to this decree, experienced employees from the leaders of structural subdivisions, their assistants and qualified specialists, who take young employees under their patronage for the period from 3 to 6 months, will receive additional payment for guardianship. Main requirements for the guardian: high professional level and record of service in a specialty shall not be less than five years.

Introducing of the guardianship system will help to attract and preserve young personnel in the company and it will ensure its adjustment to the corporate culture.

Reference: the group of companies JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” includes CJSC “First Stevedoring Company”, CJSC “Second Stevedoring Company”, CJSC “Third Stevedoring Company”, CJSC “Fourth Stevedoring Company, managing Company - JSC “Sea port of Saint-Petersburg” and a number of service companies.
The personnel of the companies of the group amounts to 3500 people, including the employees of the stevedoring companies - over 2000 people.
