2.3 mln. rubles were transferred for the social support of the employees of First, Second and Fourth Stevedoring Companies of the Group JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” in the first quarter of 2008, which is 12 % more than in the same period of 2007.
The major part of these funds was used for reimbursement of staff medical treatment costs, purchase of the sanatorium-resort vouchers for the personnel, provision of the financial aid for the employees and the purchase of the season tickets to the sport centers.
Reference: 1% of salary fund is transferred to the target funds every month. Funds are earmarked for the social support of the personnel. Special committees of employees were organized to ensure transparency and efficiency of funds’ allocation.
