New open storage ground is set into operation on the place of the warehouse Nr. 22. on the territory of CJSC “First Stevedoring Company”. For these purposes the company transferred over 60 mln. rubles.
The reconstruction of the open storage ground with the total area of over 8 thousand sq. metres within the development programme of the 1st and 2nd cargo areas of the port will make it possible to increase the annual production capacity up to 500 thousand tons of general cargoes.
Reference:In 2007 JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” started the implementation of the Complex Development Programme up to 2011. It includes the development of the transport infrastructure, the construction of the car and container terminals and the capital repairs of the berths. Total amount of the investments into implementation of this programme will amount to 19 bln. rubles; out of which 546 mln rubles were transferred last year.
