On May, 8 on the eve of the Victory Day the veterans and the representatives of the administration of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” laid flowers to the monuments and memorial plaques dedicated to the port workers who perished in the Great Patriotic War.
Each veteran received personal letter of congratulation and financial aid from the administration of the group of companies.
On May, 7 the group of companies organized the visit of the veterans to the summer camp “Mayak”, where they had the chance to listen to the songs of the war period and to hear the congratulations. There on the territory of the camp the ceremonial dinner took place.
Reference: In 2008 the group of companies JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” transferred 4.6 mln. rubles to support veterans of the port.
