Last weekend children of the port’s employees got a present from the company – a tour on board a comfortable motor vessel along the rivers and channels of the city.
Aboard the vessel, accompanied by their parents and the guide dressed like a queen’s maid of honour, children learned a lot of new things about the history of their native city. Most of all the young sightseers liked the famous monuments to Chizhik-Pyzhik and the Hare, which many of them saw from water-side for the first time. The children asked a lot of interesting questions and took active part in competitions and quiz-games. When the tour was over, all the children got souvenirs.
Such tours have already become a good tradition for the Seaport of Saint-Petersburg. They take place a few times a year. Last spring children of the port’s employees visited the interactive museum “The Universe of Water”.
