Starting from September 1 of the current year the salaries of all the company’s employees will be raised by 5-30% depending on the category.


This decision has resulted from realization of social partnership policy. It is aimed at the increase of social security and welfare of the employees, as well as at strengthening of the personnel’s commitment to high-quality performance and increase of labour productivity.


As a result of the rise the average salary of the port’s employees will amount to nearly 36 thousand rubles (which is by 15% more than in 2007), salary of dockworkers - the main labour force of the port - will amount to nearly 43 thousand rubles (+28%).



Reference notes:
In stevedoring companies of the group - Second, Fourth and First - salary rise for the employees and dockworkers took place in January, February and March 2008 respectively. From July 1 of the current year the minimal monthly tariff rate has increased by 5% and it now amounts to 5195 rubles.
