The previous year tested the strength of the entire global economy. The pandemic changed the priorities of the markets, affected the logistic chains and curtailed production in some cases.
In those circumstances, Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg JSC had to demonstrate prompt response to the market changes and rapid adaptation to operation in new conditions. We can say now that we have succeeded. We were fast to undertake measures for prevention of the coronavirus spread, to arrange remote operation of the personnel without affecting the business process, to work hard and efficiently with our clients.
Yet, we were not just “overcoming difficulties”, we continued active development by building storage facilities, buying equipment, improving workplace conveniences, production and management processes. The company enters the year of 2021 with a number of competitive advantages including higher endurance and technological effectiveness.
