Dear colleagues!

Congratulations on our professional holiday - Marine and River Fleet Workers’ Day!

I greet this day with a feeling of deep satisfaction with the results of the past year, a challenging year for each of us and for the transport industry as a whole. The pandemic is not over yet but I would like to emphasize that while fighting the virus expansion the port employees display qualities allowing for a professional progress as well. It is the ability to brace themselves, to be quick in their decisions and in adjusting to new conditions, to hold together, to be persistent and consistent on the way toward achieving their goals.

Those are the winners’ characteristics. With them, we have not reduced our list of achievements over the period of Covid-related constraints, economic slowdown and general uncertainty. We have enhanced the efficiency of many activities, demonstrated a considerable progress in production, development of infrastructure and social conditions. Our information technologies got the strongest impetus to development.

The general success is a combination of each employee’s efforts at their workplaces. I am grateful to all port workers for their commitment, professionalism, readiness to upgrade their skills and improve the production process. Particular thanks are to our efficiency improvers. Your creative approach to routine processes opens new opportunities for the company development.

This day is to also to thank our veterans. They are a source of our best traditions, our role models. Those are not just words. We owe our ability to work hard and efficiently to our teachers with whom we used to learn the ropes of port jobs.

I wish everyone have sound health, interesting activities, prosperity and, of course, a sense of pride in our company and our common cause!
