The specialists of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (“SP SPb”) in cooperation with the specialists of “Universal Forwarder” successfully performed the operation on discharge of the second super fast train Talgo, which will make trips between Tashkent and Samarqand along the high speed railway.
Roll-trailers with 9 railcars and 2 locomotives were reloaded from motor vessel KRAFTCA of the ferry line Transfennica to the berth 37 of the ro-ro terminal of “SP SPb”. After completion of discharge operation all the railcars were mounted on the rails of the railway track at the berths 34-36, where the specialists of the Spanish manufacturer Patents Talgo S.A. started to assemble them in one train.
Then the super fast train with the length of 157 meters will depart with the use of Russian locomotive to depot of Metallostroy station for the check of the rolling equipment and for the further transportation to Uzbekistan.
Operation on discharge of the first passenger train Talgo – the present of Uzbekistan’s government to its citizens for 20th anniversary of Independence of Republic was performed by the specialists of “SP SPb” in July of 2011.
Talgo trains are operated on railways of Spain, USA, Germany, Finland, Kazakhstan and drive at full speed of 250 km/h. The cost of one train amounts to 18 mln. Euro.
