Due to the reorganization by joining to JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (JSC “SP SPb”),  CJSC “Second Stevedoring Company” (CJSC “SSC”) has ceased its business activity. Record about it was made in Unified State Register of Legal Entities on May 12.

JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” is the universal assignee with regard to all the rights and obligations.

All the personnel of CJSC “SSC” was hired by JSC “SP SPb” on the same conditions. All the obligations under contracts with clients have been also transferred to  JSC “SP SPb”.

Process of reorganization of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” will be completed after joining of CJSC “First Stevedoring Company” to it.


Reference: In 2010 the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” started the process of reorganization of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” by joining  to it of three joint-stock companies: CJSC “First Stevedoring Company”, CJSC “Second Stevedoring Company” and CJSC “Third Stevedoring Company”.

On March 24, 2011 CJSC “Third Stevedoring Company” ceased its business activity and joined to JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg”.

Joining of historically and organizationally related companies controlled by one shareholder and carrying on their leading activity at the first, second and third areas of the port and creation of the integrated operator will make it possible to improve business management, decrease management and administrative costs and strengthen the competitiveness of services related to handling of cargoes in the Greater Port of Saint-Petersburg.
